A vintage pair of Japanese clip-on earrings inspired by the traditional Aizu-nuri (会津塗) lacquer craft of Fukushima. The design imitates tsuishu (堆朱) layered lacquer through smooth, polished resin with subtle gradations from cream to deep turquoise. A beautiful example of mid-Showa regional craft accessories.
