This is a vintage Japanese Arita-yaki incense burner (kōro), dating from approximately the late Shōwa period (about 40 years old). The piece features a warm rust-red body with delicate gold-painted landscape motifs, combined with a white porcelain lid decorated with subtle painted details. The lid includes a cut-out vent and a sculptural finial, allowing incense smoke to gently escape. A paper label identifying it as Arita ware (有田焼) is still attached and has been intentionally left in place to avoid damage.
The burner comes with its original wooden storage box, adding to its collectible value.
