This vintage Japanese necklace features the refined Zogan (象嵌) technique, a metal inlay method where fine gold designs are intricately embedded into a dark metal surface. The pendant displays an elegant floral motif. Zogan requires painstaking handwork to inlay precious metals into iron or copper bases, making each piece a true testament to artisanal mastery.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. It comes with its original presentation wooden box, that shows minor signs of age.
