This vintage Japanese brooch combines traditional design with a clean, geometric look. The wooden surface is inlaid with decorative Japanese paper (washi) featuring the classic kikkō (tortoiseshell) pattern — a hexagonal motif associated with longevity and harmony. Covered with transparend lacquer. Fine golden accents add depth, while small bead details create a subtle three-dimensional effect that catches the light beautifully.
Its square shape makes it easy to style on coats, jackets, scarves, or structured garments, adding a quiet statement without overwhelming an outfit.
