This vintage Japanese hair ornament/ barette features the traditional Zogan (象嵌) inlay technique, where fine gold designs are embedded into a dark metal base with precision and artistry. The metal clip has an elegant, curved shape that makes it easy to secure in the hair. It displays an elegant floral motif, the inlay sits against a rich black background. timeless accessory and a beautiful example of Japanese metalwork.
