This beautiful Japanese vintage kogai (hairpin) is made of wood and finished in black lacquer and decorated with floral motifs. This hair stick reflect the refined artistry typical of formal Japanese styling and were often worn with kimono during special occasions. It is lightweight, durable, and display exquisite craftsmanship.
Condition: very good vitnage condition, there is a very minor chip at the backside, on the rounded part (please see the last image).
