This vintage Sosaku Kokeshi is a handcrafted work by the renowned artist Kojo Tanaka (1910–1996), a Prime Minister Award winner. The piece is made from light-toned wood and features a distinctive carved "bob" hairstyle topped with a two-sphere ornament. The body is decorated with hand-painted plum blossoms (ume) in orange and white, symbolizing resilience and spring.
