This exquisite Japanese Kutani ware brooch features a hand-painted floral pattern, showcasing vibrant flowers crafted using both traditional overglaze and underglaze techniques. The underglaze provides a smooth and durable base, while the overglaze enamels add vibrant, intricate details and a rich palette of colors. Presented in its original box, it is a timeless accessory and an ideal gift or collectible for lovers of fine Japanese artistry. The backside features a secure pin fastening, ensuring durability and easy attachment to clothing or accessories.

Kutani ware is a prominent style of Japanese ceramics, named after the village where the first kiln was established. Originating in Ishikawa Prefecture, the name "Kutani" translates to "Nine Valleys," with its history tracing back to the mid-17th century. Rather than referring to a single factory, Kutani represents a region where numerous workshops produced ceramics under the Kutani name, each contributing to its rich and diverse heritage.
