Beautiful Kutani-yaki (九谷焼) incense burner featuring a glossy black glaze, elegant gold-toned decorative patterns, and a sculpted lion (shishi) finial on the lid. The piece stands on three feet and includes lion-head handles, giving it a dignified, traditional appearance typical of classic Kutani incense burners.
This is a tripod koro (香炉)—a traditional Japanese incense burner used in tea ceremony rooms, altars, and as a decorative interior piece. The incense burner comes with its original wooden tomobako (共箱) signed and sealed.
