This vintage pair of creative Japanese Kokeshi dolls is entitled "Koibito," which translates to “Lovers,” and was handcrafted by master Masashi Takeda (1930-2015). The set features a unique visual narrative where one doll is painted with Cupid's arrow and the other features a vibrant pink heart. Both figures are crafted from natural wood, highlighting the beautiful organic grain, and are detailed with serene expressions and rosy cheeks.

Condition: excellent vintage condition with almost no signs of age. Original storage box is included.
