This is a vintage Japanese clutch bag crafted from Nishijin-ori (西陣織), the renowned silk brocade weaving tradition of Kyoto. Nishijin-ori is famous for its fine weaving, shimmering silk threads, and elegant motifs, making this bag a refined accessory for traditional and formal wear.

The design features a white background adorned with plum blossoms (ume), a symbol of renewal and celebration in Japanese culture. Its soft colors and refined brocade make it particularly suitable for weddings, tea ceremonies, or festive occasions.
