This pair of vintage Ouchi Hina dolls represents a celebrated traditional lacquerware craft from Yamaguchi Prefecture known as Ouchi-nuri. These dolls are uniquely characterized by their round, gentle shapes. This set dates to the Showa era and comes with its original wooden storage box and display stand. As these are authentic vintage items, they show signs of their history, including minor scratches and some dirt from long-term storage, while the top of the wooden box has developed a natural patina and sun damage over time.
