Origin of Shippo-yaki (七宝焼の由来): The text on the leaflet explains the ancient roots of cloisonné, its path through Silk Road trade into Japan along with Buddhist culture, its historical development under Japanese artisans, and its evolution during the Edo period into today's world-renowned art form.
