A classic piece of Japanese folk craft (Mingei), this vintage Showa-era gamaguchi coin purse combines traditional bamboo weaving with soft fabric panels. The center features intricate, lacquered deep-red woven bamboo, flanked by neutral tan panels and finished with kiss-lock frame.
It still retains its original paper wrapper label reading 「高級 竹工芸品」 (High-Grade Bamboo Craftwork), making it a great find for collectors of vintage Japanese accessories or retro pouches.

The purse is framed with a sturdy metal clasp in a traditional "gamaguchi" style, known for its durability and ease of use. Its compact size makes it ideal for carrying coins, keys, or small essentials, while its unique textile design makes it an elegant accessory for any occasion.
