This handcrafted Sosaku Kokeshi doll by Takeda Masashi highlights rich natural wood grain. It displays a rounded, bell-shaped head and a tapered wooden body wrapped in deeply carved wild chrysanthemum (nogiku) motifs. The serene face has simple eye slits and a tiny red mouth mark, while the base shows the raw wood rings and artisan signature.
