This vintage wooden creative kokeshi doll is a minimalist masterpiece crafted by the award-winning master Tomio Ishida from Gunma Prefecture, Japan.
Named "Warabe" (Child/Youth), this authentic folk toy features a beautiful, clean design that highlights the natural grain of the wood, complete with a distinctive bob haircut and a serene, subtly hand-painted expression. It comes with its original box, which features a traditional paper label bearing the title, the artist's signature red seal, and text commemorating it as a piece from a National Kokeshi Contest Award Winner.
