This charming vintage Japanese brooch is crafted in the traditional tsumami zaiku technique—an art form used for centuries to create delicate floral decorations for kimono and hair ornaments. Each individual petal is carefully folded by hand from soft kimono fabric in shades of turkois, brown, and patterned cream. The petals form a layered, blooming flower with a decorative center bead that adds a gentle sparkle.
The back features a simple metal pin and an additional elastic loop, allowing the brooch to be attached easily to jackets, scarves, bags, or accessories.
