This vintage Japanese traditional (Waso) handbag features an elegant woven fabric decorated with classic fan and floral motifs in vibrant purple, orange, and gold.
The top frame is accented with a tortoiseshell-style acrylic clasp and includes a matching patterned fabric handle. The interior is lined in a pale cream textured fabric and contains an open slip pocket alongside a zippered compartment. The versatile handle can be tucked entirely inside the frame, allowing the piece to be carried as a formal evening clutch bag.

Condition: very good vintage condition. There are some very minor scratches on the metal parts and tiny spots inside. The exterior pattern is in excellent condition (please see images for details).
